Information about Archimedean Bone Drill
Illustration from the Truax catalogue (1899), 389 fig 871, which
notes that the Hamilton's improved pattern, seen here and slightly
differently in our example, occupies less space than other drills,
stores its bits safely away, and is generally provided with a depth
guard.
Somewhat similar designs appear in most makers' offerings, e.g.
in Tiemann (1889) II.50, fig 216 or Tiemann (1879) 8, fig 35.
